FirstView is both a software development company and a content production company that develops immersive 3D, 360, Virtual Reality content and solutions for the hospitality industry. We work with some of the major hotel chains in the world. How will your workweek look like?

You will be part of a self-organized full-stack team, working agile, and focused on certain domains (packages, search, bookings, and customers). You will help develop new exciting functionalities, but also fix current bugs on the same domain. Your main responsibility on the team will be to translate designs into code.
What you will do as a developer:

– Build frontend integrations and help with custom modules for Odoo v13 instance.
– Ensure testing of all code and applications and push for a testing culture on the team.
– The developer would work with the team and spend some time mentoring/pairing with another senior developer.
– Basic SASS, HTML and Bootstrap skills preferred

Develop UI interfaces that meet both functional and technical requirements.
Ensure the story completes the cycle (not only your part): meets design, integrates with the platform, and deploys to production.
Ensure the results are useful on a wide range of screens and devices.
Test and fix your code to look nearly the same in a range of supported browsers (ie 11 still included).
Adopt and contribute to our Design System, company wise broth used.
Advocate for front-end knowledge and good practices within your team.

Do you have what it takes? We are looking for the following skills:

Knowledge HTML, CSS, W3C standards
Perfect understanding of what happens on browsers.
Ability to handle and solve cross-browser caveats.
Efficient using GIT and capable to solve your conflicts.
Detail-oriented, team player, and proactive.

Good to have:

CSS conventions and architectures like ITCSS and BEM.
Proven Javascript experience, with or without frameworks.
Design Systems knowledge and experience working on them.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
SEO, microdata, and analytics.
Having worked with bundling and automation tools like Webpack, Babel, post-CSS.
Previous experience with CMS, we use Odoo.
